Early in 2020 as the pandemic was forcing us to isolate from our friends and live performing, we began a weekly series of duets which we called “Stir Crazy”. For over a year, we offered these home recordings free of charge on Bandcamp as a way to stay connected to our supporters and to continue developing new music. After 60 episodes we retired the series to begin preparing for our next studio recording "Counterfeit Mars".

This record is the culmination of that year of uncertainty, isolation and concentrated duo explorations. The music combines compositions as well as improvisations and hopefully conveys our deepened connection to both.
